The chain met an 8,ooo. mark.Sadly, the video mogul

Tragic story of horror

August 4th,1944

We recall the historic film starring the awesome cast of

Shelley Winters and the star Millie Perkins;On August

1st, Anne Frank,her father Otto,and others went into

hiding above an Amsterdam warehouse. Sadly, 3 days

later, the people were found by the Nazi Gestapo.

Both Anne and her sister were taken ill to a hospital at

a camp.In Feb. 1945, the two girls died.

We recall that film with Elizabeth Montgomery, and the

eerie song;Lizzie Borden murdered her father and

Kiichiro Toyoda, may sound like a familiar name;He is

the founder of the great company we call Toyota.In

2008, we recognized it as the company that surpassed

General Motors as the world’s largest automaker.

Mr. Toyoda, sadly passed away at age 57.

great Italian mob film; The

Godfather star, protested the treatment of Native

Little-known George Clooney, makes his debut as a handyman on the popular Facts of

Life show; We know  the popular singer Rosemary Clooney, and the young star

is her nephew. It would not take that long for Clooney’s fame to grow, for George

would star in many awesome films like One Fine Day (1996) , The Perfect

Storm (2000) or Out Of Sight (1998).

personally,enjoy that wonderful Don’t Give Up

We mourn the passing of a great director; We know

Judy Garland as Vincent Minelli’s daughter(from

first wife,Liza Minelli). We know the great Minelli

films,like Father of The Bride and Father’s Little

Dividend.

Estelle Getty,we remember,soared to fame as one of

television’s Golden Girls.In their Florida home,

Sophia Petrillo gave her housemates a dry “wit” .We

also mourn the Stop,Or My Mom Will Shoot actress

who made us laugh.

her Day. People do recall the 1970s film Grease, and I also love her and Will Smith in

sweet Six Degrees Of Separation(with legend Donald Sutherland).

Music lovers used to dance to such tunes as  Last Train To Clarksville, Valerie or

Pleasant Valley Sunday.How many also used to watch the great ,zany antics they played

on their special series fittingly titled  The Monkees!!
